[ He definitely sticks out, that's for sure. Kairi catches sight of the man as he approaches her and visibly double-takes, staring at him in surprise. Now, Kairi is a girl who has traveled to many different worlds and met many different creatures, but never had she even imagined a man made out of purple crystal. She smiles as he approaches, trying to hide her surprise at his appearance. ]

[ When he tries to speak, unfortunately, she can't repress a startled gasp, clapping her hands over her ears. His words don't sound like words at all, but some sort of harsh static-- a painful, inhuman sound. ]

[Laguna freezes. Stupid! He made that mistake quite a bit, after all...
But he then raises his hand, quietly. What to do... well, at least he'd stopped talking.

A few moments, later, though - he gets out his communicator, and types a message.]
...Sorry. Y'okay there?
