[ you might have gotten a nice little text message in your communication device, telling you to come party in Orlea. There's all types of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, and a mixture of foods to snack on. the music is also pulsing and loud enough to get you wanting to dance.

[ that's the first thing that slips out of his mouth after walking up to you. he flushes a bit, embarrassed at what he's said ]

[Her lips curve into a smile. No offense taken. It's something she's already used to after two days here.]

I'll take that as a compliment.

Yeah, I've gotta say, I've never seen someone like you, but you look cool. I dig the horns.

[genitrix]

[Her grin widens. 'Cool' is kind of her thing, though she's not as vocal about it as some. Porrim tosses her hair over her shoulder effortlessly.]

Thanks. Most people ask if they can touch them. I don't think they believe me that they're real.

[foolsaround]

Woah, isn't that a bit forward for people to ask?

[ he gestures at your horns ]

I mean, they're like a part of you and stuff. So it must be weird to hear people asking you to touch you like that.

[genitrix]

It is. Especially since, for my kind, petting our horns is a bit like petting a cat.

[She laughs.] But I've never been shy about physical contact.

[foolsaround]

[ he laughs with you, his hand rubbing against the back of his neck as he gives you a grin afterwards ]

Good to know.

[genitrix]

[She's been dancing a little the whole time, keeping her hips moving to the beat. Now she comes a little closer.]

Dance with me?

[foolsaround]

[ he walks closer to you when you ask, a smile on his face ]

I'd love to.

[genitrix]

[She raises her brows over glowing yellow eyes and then turns so her back is facing him, hips swaying in time with the music. Over her shoulder, she calls:]

I'm Porrim, by the way.

[foolsaround]

[ he comes up closer and dances with you, his hips moving with yours ]

Nice to meet you, Porrim. I'm Tyler Simms. You can call me Tyler.

[genitrix]

Tyler. Human names are so cute.

[She reaches back for his hands and places them on her own hips, just above the slits in either side of her dress. Who knew you could have this much fun in the afterlife?]

You could also call me Ty.

[ he pulls you closer to him by your hips-- he honestly can't help the grin he gives when he does ]

Ty? Such a short name. It's so...smooth.

[She pulls out her flask from God-knows-where and takes a swig from it. She needs to keep her energy up, after all, and human alcohol would likely poison her.]

[ he looks at the flask and can't help the quirky little grin ]

Nice. I should've brought my own flask too.

[genitrix]

[Coyly, she tucks it back away into hiding.]

I'd offer you some, but I doubt you'd like what I'm drinking.

Hey, there's more than enough drinks around here anyway.

[ he winks at you ]

[genitrix]

[She turns back around with an elaborate little spin—Beforan dance forms were rather elegant—and there's a delicate little dribble of red on her mouth. At least, until she licks it away with a flash of grey tongue.]

I assume you're the one throwing this party.

[foolsaround]

[ he's giving you an admiring look, totally into how elegant your movements are ]

You bet I am.

[genitrix]

It's a good party. I think it's just what people needed to relax.

[She moves a little closer to speak into his ear, and it's difficult not to get sidetracked by the smell of warm, fresh blood under the skin of his neck.]

I'm certainly enjoying myself.

Hey, I'm a party man. It's what I do.

[ he flushes a bit red when you lean in close, but he still has a sort of goofy smile on his face ]

And I'm glad you're having fun.

[She pulls her head back, letting her hair fall to partly cover her face.]

Do you have a matesprit?

What's a matesprit?

Oh, sorry. I keep forgetting. Human romance is different from ours.

[She fumbles for the word for a moment.]

A— girlfriend? Or boyfriend.

I don't have either of those. I'm a single man.
