[She moves a little closer to speak into his ear, and it's difficult not to get sidetracked by the smell of warm, fresh blood under the skin of his neck.]

[She pulls her head back, letting her hair fall to partly cover her face.]

Oh, sorry. I keep forgetting. Human romance is different from ours.

[She fumbles for the word for a moment.]

A— girlfriend? Or boyfriend.

I don't have either of those. I'm a single man.

Oh. That's good. Not that it matters to me, but human romance is apparently much more exclusive than troll romance.

How does troll romance work?

[She laughs, but it's not mean-spirited.]

It's...very complicated. But basically, there are four types, and they all function differently.

Woah, that does sound complicated.

[She shakes her head and laugh, gently moving away from him with sauntering strides, turning back around to face him.]

But boy do I wish I did.

[She's probably the only person who could make a booty-drop look elegant, but with her swirling skirts and rustling hair, she does.]

You'd probably be wrong, though.

Hey, if you move like that all the time I'll just agree with whatever you have to say, no questions asked.

[There's a small wrinkling of her nose, barely perceptible.]

[Her smile returns. She supposes there's nothing really anti-feminist about that, and after all she can't really blame him. But she still thinks it might be fun to mess with him, just a little bit.]
