Who: Yuki & YOU
What: Yuki is out an about the town shopping (taking?) for various things.
Where: Orlea
When: Friday, March 8th
[It still felt strange being told there was no need to pay for anything here. Logically, it didn't make sense, but who was he to argue with the people in charge of this place over whether he should pay rent or not? If anything he should be thankful. Money was another thing he didn't have to worry about and instead he could focus on this increasingly odd and horrifying situation--
He needed something to take his mind off things. There weren't any places in Orlea where he could pick up fishing again and since he couldn't get a job (could he? was it even worth it?) that left little for him to actively focus on.
At least for now he could try and explore the town. What's the worse that could happen?]
[Scenario A]
[Grocery mart! Even if he and Haru could afford to eat out whenever they wanted it was still a good idea to be able to prepare their own meals at home. Yuki wasn't the best cook, but he did well enough and surely Haru didn't mind the difference between average home cooked meals and gourmet hamburgers.
So Yuki is wandering the aisles, shopping basket in hand.] I wonder if they have whitebait here... Probably not.
[Scenario B]
[Bookstore! Yuki is in the sci-fi section, a few bags filled with various things he had picked up earlier in the dag by his feet. He smiles a little while flipping through some book about dinosaurs with another book tucked under his arm. A few more similar titles sit stacked off to the side for him to pick up later.]
[Scenario C]
[Clothing store! Yuki is looking through some t-shirts, mostly graphic ones similar to this. He already has a few things set off to the side, most shirts and a few pairs of pants. It's kind of a lot of clothes for one guy, though... Is he shopping for two people?]

[ As if he heard Yuki speaking, Haru wandered back around after looking at a nearby aisle himself. ]
Yuki, I didn't find anything I like yet. [ he's pouting a bit at that, too, but it fades quickly into a smile. ]
[ he's only looked at one aisle, after all. ]
What else are you going to get--?
C
Oh, hey kid-- ... sorry, Yuki, right? You look like you're doing better.

Ah, so far I just have what we need right now. [Which include a few bags of various vegetables and a carton of eggs so far.]
If we take too much we might waste it so it's best we take just enough for now.

Nah, don't worry about it. Can't expect everyone to be calm about this.

Ehh, but that's just vegetables and eggs...
What about dessert? We can at least take that too, right?
-- and whitebaits? [ he's not about to forget about them. ]

Let's see... bread, milk, rice... [Yuki looks up at Haru when he mentions whitebait.] Did you look through the fish section yet? If they have any here we can get that too. [Jeez, this was so domestic. Not that it was anything different than what he was used to back in Enoshima, but... this wasn't Enoshima. It was weird.]

He nods, running the fabric of the shirt between his thumb and index finger.] I wish there was a way to communicate... with those back home. I don't want anyone to worry... [Especially his grandmother.]
no subject
I know how you feel. 'course... I'm more worried about some one I left behind...

[ Haru will hum a bit in uncertainty, then. ] I don't mind fish if Yuki wants it, but other things would be nice, too...!
[ Eating fish does make him feel a little bad, sometimes, even if he still doesn't mind it. He's a fish himself, after all. ]
-- Also, cake for dessert would be yummy!
