who: judar and aladdin.
what: housing settlements.
where: highcrest.
when: backdated to the evening of 2nd.
[ Tonight, Aladdin is sleeping early. It's been a long day. He's worn out from constant exploration of the new, large world. There's much to see, and he merely explored a couple of hours worth of sightings. Although he wishes to hurry and find a way to return, he knows well that it's impossible in just a day.
There a lot of people who are trapped here just like him, not much of an explanation given to anyone; they even had to find their own accommodations! Aladdin luckily managed to find a cozy housing in Highcrest. It's a tiny country cottage, quite colorful, and is meant for two people. Well, three. If the third person wouldn't mind sharing the large bed with two others! Thinking about that, Aladdin suddenly feels a bit nostalgic. He used to always share a bed with Alibaba and Morgiana. He wonders how they are now...
Adjustment to this world aside, he also had to adjust to the fact that he's here with a certain someone. A certain someone who he isn't prepared to see; at least, not yet. However, there's little he can do about the present but accept. That is why Aladdin merely sighs and closes his eyes, flopping against the large bed that is all to himself for now. He's almost ready to face the next day, for another Round Two vs Mallow Hallow.
Except... His day is actually far from over. ]

But the day seems like it's starting to end right about now and the Magi needed a place to stay. There's absolutely no way he would spend the night outside. It must have been his luck when he comes across a cozy looking cottage.
Since everything is practically given to him in this place, it should be fine if he decides to just barge in and take it right? That's why, without bothering to knock, Judar tries to open the door. Only to discover that it's been locked...
For a moment, he considers breaking the damn door down. But if he plans on living in here, he didn't want to have to deal with a broken door. Walking around around the cottage, he finds an open window.
Perfect.
That's how he'll make his grand entrance into this humble abode.
Well as grand as it can be. He may have knocked something over while he climbed in.]

The only way for them to enter is either breaking in or through an open window. That meant unwanted trespassing. Unless someone already lives here, Aladdin knows that this might be bad news. It's mostly the latter, as he made sure to double-check the state of this house. It's unoccupied since there's not a single personal belonging in sight. The cupboards are all empty, and various signs that no one's been here.
He slowly exits the bedroom, moving to the next which happens to be the sunroom. The door leading to the living room is open. Staying closely against the wall, the little Magi tiptoes to the edge of the door way to take a peek at what may have happened there.]

Problem solved!
The inside seems nice enough. It's nowhere near as big as the Kou Palace of course. But he'll have to make due right? It's not like there's a castle anywhere that he could claim for himself.
Now he just had to find a place to sleep. Every house should at least have one bedroom. Exploring around would mean that he would eventually bump into a certain pipsqueak who's peeking behind the corner.
And when he does... Sparks of lightning might literally fly.]
You again?!
no subject
However, Aladdin is rightfully the first to this house; he can't just bend over and leave. In an attempt to protect his position, he straightens up quickly. Maybe a little huff escapes him.]
That's... my line, Judar. The doors were locked, what do you think you're doing?
no subject
[And now here's without the sarcasm.]
What do you think I'm here for? I obviously need a place to stay.
[And Judar has taken a liking to this place. He's not going anywhere, just so you know!]
no subject
[Maybe Aladdin would consider if there was actually another bedroom, but there's only one and it's his. He can't trust sharing a room with a person who means harm to him, so he's going to be immensely firm about this.
Aladdin isn't completely heartless, he's aware that it's cruel to send a person out. But, he highly doubts that Judar would like to stay on the couch for tonight regardless if offered. That being so, he's best going off to find a place while the night isn't too late.]
... You know that this isn't going to work. So, please.
no subject
You know what's a better idea? You pack up and leave.
[Because he's not leaving. And the fact that there's only one room in this place? Well, Judar is taking it now whether the pipsqueak liked it or not. So acting as if he already owns the place, he pushes the little Magi aside while he looks for that single bedroom he was talking about earlier.]
I'm taking the bedroom. That's all I'm really after in this place anyway.

[Aladdin doesn't want to give up that easily. He's tired, so all he wants to do now is sleep. Despite being pushed out of the way, the physical training that he's received at Magnostadt has made him into a stronger person. He didn't fall over that easily.
That's why he instantly turns after a speedy recovery, quick to hold unto the long black braid, attempting to hold the older Magi in place before he takes any further steps.]
You can't just do that to people!
no subject
Yeah, well, guess what? I don't really care.
[He'd like his hair back, you little brat. He's trying to pry the boy's hands off his braid without messing up a single strand. Having to redo his braid all over again because a certain brat decided to mess with it would make his day even more of a headache.]
Let go of my hair, pipsqueak!
no subject
[This is actually to be expected. Judar doesn't want to give in, no matter what. Aladdin doesn't have much energy to put up a fight, too... It would be bad if the older Magi decided to pull out his wand over settling this issue.
Reluctantly, he does let go. In a form of protest though, he lets his sore knees give in. As he lands on the floor, he faintly puffs both cheeks to indicate how displeased he actually is.]
Fine! I'm going...
[Enjoy the rest of your lonely night, Judar. After he's done pouting, Aladdin stands up again and turns the other way. He hopes that he can get lucky enough again to find another house... Maybe he should try contacting Sinbad and the others? They surely found a place by now, knowing that king's high charisma.]

Except before Aladdin could leave, this time it was Judar who grabs the boy by the braid. It was a sudden gesture so he may have "accidentally" yanked on it in the process. Judar wanted the bed, but he didn't like to be left alone. It's the only reason why he didn't go to look for a cottage that isn't too far away from the town.
But this cottage was far away enough to give him enough space for himself if he wanted a quiet nap. But what would he do with all of the space that he's not even going to use.
Except, Judar wouldn't dare tell the boy that it's okay for him to stay. So he goes and asks a different question.]
Hey... Did you find anything yet?
no subject
Why, did you find something already? We did agree that we won't trade information unless you have something for me, too.
[He didn't want Judar to think that he's easy to fool all the time, so he'll not go easy on him. If he's just trying to check on his progress, then he won't give away hints on that as well.]
no subject
[Judar didn't quite find anything yet. Except the discovery of Pokemon. Maybe that's worth sharing... and who knows. Maybe he can con the kid into catching one for him.]
But I did find out something pretty cool.
[He sticks his chest out and looks rather proud of himself. Yes, he's decided that Pokemon discovery is the best thing ever. It may not solve their situation in getting home. But maybe it's something he can bring home and brag about to everyone else.]
no subject
[Since Judar isn't asking for specifications, then he supposes that a simple progress hint won't be so bad.]
... All right, yes. I did make some progress since earlier. It's nothing major, but it's still something.
[The way that Judar is proclaiming himself made it look like he discovered something ingenious. On the other hand, this is Judar. Aladdin can't tell if he's fooling around or not.]
no subject
Nothing major, huh? Well, of course. I doubt it's anything like what I discovered.
[And Judar didn't even have to force it out of the girl he was talking to. Well, he dd accidentally drop his communicator on her head. But she wasn't hurt thanks to that hat of hers. No problem, no problem.]
I think I've totally got this little contest in the bag.
no subject
[If Judar is so proud of himself, Aladdin should at least receive a hint to as confirmation that the older Magi isn't just bluffing.
Aladdin's really tired now, however. It doesn't help that he's still worried over finding a place to stay. He'd stay and humor Judar further, but not tonight.]
... Actually, I'll talk about that with you tomorrow. I can't waste another minute of trying to find a place to stay.
[Moving a hand up, he places it upon Judar's own, the one that's still holding his thin blue braid.]
no subject
[Hey wait. Did the brat just say he's going somewhere? Judar hasn't finished bragging yet! So of course, he's not letting go of Aladdin's braid just yet.]
Well, if your so tired, just sleep on the floor or something. If you don't want to leave, you might as well stay--
[Oh. He ran his mouth before thinking his words through. And now he made such a major slip up.]
no subject
Earlier, Aladdin was able to see the other Magi's unexpectedly childish sides. But, this... What is it? A reflex to seek out company? Perhaps it's because Judar isn't used to living by himself? Thinking about it a little more, that might be right... The Kou Empire is a huge and populated kingdom, even bigger than Balbadd and Sindria combined.
Aladdin can only imagine just how extravagant the actual castle is. Judar must have a lot of servants back home, considering how Al-Thamen treats this Magi. This situation must be quite alien for him if so, including how quiet this area is. Is that truly it, though? Judar... is lonely?]
Um... I guess if you don't mind me staying the night, I could...
no subject
Well, I don't really care where you sleep. You just can't go into my room.
[That meant Aladdin is free to sleep in the bathtub, on the floor, or even in the kitchen sink. He's sure the brat can fit anywhere.]
no subject
I'll... stay in the living room, then. The couch is good enough for now.
[Since Judar lets him go without harming him, Aladdin feels that he's developed the smallest trust. It's still far from a real one, but it's as good as it can get. Enough to convince him to stay overnight.]
I'm very tired... I'll listen to you tomorrow, okay? Good night.
no subject
That means he won't be spending the night by himself.]
Whatever. Just don't start complaining about the couch being too lump and uncomfortable. I better not see you in my bed when I wake up.
[If the boy does end up crawling his way in, he can expect to get a kick off the mattress. Judar wouldn't feel the slightest bit bad over kicking the boy in the face.]
no subject
[Unless he sleepwalks somehow? Aladdin has never done that before, so really, Judar didn't have to think about that. It's the smaller Magi who should be worried... He has no guarantee that Judar won't do anything to him while he's asleep, so he'll try not to sleep too soundly.
As he's said his good night, he turns now to start heading out of the sunroom. It's a good thing that Judar "took care" of the broken glass in the living room, their bare feet definitely wouldn't be pleased upon impact. Tomorrow is a long day meanwhile, as Aladdin has to find a proper place for himself and then stock up on supplies afterwards.]
no subject
[Judar sounds unimpressed, but he doesn't bother to say anything else. He's given out his warning already, and the pipsqueak understood. That's all that really matters. As Aladdin turns to the living room, he's also finally making his way into the bedroom.
Inside there, a large bed greets him, much to his delight. Judar is completely satisfied that he won in the end. It would have been a major disappointment if it turned out there was nothing but a little baby crib in here. (He thought that was rather fitting for the little Magi.)
As he's about to close the door behind him, he stops himself for a while. It's okay if he left the door slightly ajar right? He didn't have to worry about Aladdin coming in. The boy said so himself. And if he did? Well, that gave Judar the right to kick him off. (He realizes, once again, he still hadn't punched the boy yet.)]
I'm too tired to close the door.
[That's what he tells himself as he leaves the door alone and flops onto his bed. It's okay to leave things the way they are just for tonight.]
