*Doll had at least gotten to sit upright again, though it was being very delicate about pulling the pillowcase off of where it had wrapped around the shoe's sole, determined as it was to stay caught there. The foot was twisted wrongly -- and as Castiel might be able to tell from the sad look in its face, wincing as it did this, it probably did hurt. It wasn't sparing its attention to answer his question directly, but still, his expectations seemed to be being proven wrong.*
*Of course, Castiel could probably see right through the pants leg, and the sock and shoe which were between him and the "plastic" that formed the Shadow-creature, and even if he couldn't, it wouldn't be hard to tug at least the cloth out of the way without further pain or injury. It looked like the ball joint of its ankle had been twisted a little too far, was all. There weren't any cracks to speak of, just white areas where the already-pale plastic had been stressed out.*
*and Doll wasn't sure what to do, now that it had its foot free, but pull the pillow it'd been so happy to find up, to hug it to its chest while it wiped away tears that didn't exist.*
If it'd work out. :3 If not, Doll'll fix itself by forgetting about it later, lmfao
