[ it's difficult not to sense the one person you love individually, specially if you are Kaworu Nagisa, specially if that person is the first thing on your mind from the second you wake up. He ignores everything else but that presence and though he doesn't seem to hear anything, the tune "Ode to Joy" is ringing loud on his ears.
When he approaches just enough, Kaworu's red eyes meet Shinji.
