[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

I suppose that's all. Well then, bye now, dears! And let the word spread—Mallow Hallow is up and rising once again!

[Well, this blows.

Fortunately Green is hardheaded to the point that even the most stubborn of people would stare in awe, so this whole idea of 'being stuck here' hasn't really sunk in. He is, after all, Green - he'll just bust out or find some escape route one way or the other. Or maybe this is all some cruel joke some crazy Pokemaniac has created and went out of control. Green's been through worse.

But who is he not to at least explore a little? He seems to be checking out the sights pretty casually, with a little brown fox on his shoulder as his handy companion. And Green's not just giving everything a quick glance and moving on - he's looking around corners, checking out the tile pathways, and peering through bushes as though he's looking for something. As far as everyone else needs to know, though, he's just exploring and taking his time. Surely he won't be around for long. Green doesn't do well sticking to just one place...]

[ chances are in that process Green.. you may have just passed by a sitting Lyra and her Espeon, who the Trainer leans in to whisper very loudly to the lilac catlike pokemon. ] Doesn't he look familiar..?

[ except, one: she does recognize him. two: she definitely recognizes him.

she's just waiting to see if he recognizes her. unless the teasing backfires and he returns it equally.. that would be bad. ]

[One look to the left, one look around a tree, one look at the girl on the right...

Aaaaand he's searched all around this area. Green shrugs and stuffs his hands in his pockets. Nothing to see here, time to move on to the next street or whatever.]

H-Hey! I know you saw me!! [ and she puffs up her cheeks, hands on her hips as she pushes to stand to hurry and catch up with. not so fast, mister!!]

[All this yelling sounds like something a Trainer would say on the street to him. Green's kind of not in the mood, but the voice sounded nice and female, so he supposes it's worth some of his attention.]

You don't have to really act like you don't know me! I was only joking, Green! [ sheesh do you know what you're doing to the poor girl!? so cruel...

Espeon trails close beside Lyra, flicking an ear before giving a greeting cry to the other Trainer.]

[He was distracted, okay? Green finally looks at her proper, then smirks and puts his hands on his hips. Yeah, he totally noticed (not) and was just teasing. Totally.]

Well, look what else washed up here.

You mean other than your smelly face? [ HAH, PAYBACK, never felt so goooood.

but excuse her, she's gonna still give him a tight hug in any case. as much as she's able to anyways, damnit green you're too tall!!!

[A shout rings out from the crowd!]

Hey! Gary!

[-and a young girl stumbles into view! You don't know her, but she recognizes you! Gary Oak, Ash's researcher friend and Professor Oak's grandson! Supposed to be in Sinnoh but he's here, like her, so maybe there are others...!

Breaking into a sprint, May comes to a an immediate halt in front of Green, almost tripping in her haste. This'll be an awkward introduction for sure, but May's so happy to see someone from (what she thinks is) her world that she just doesn't care.]

Hi! I'm May! We haven't met but it's so great to see you!

[Green's so lost in his searching that he almost walks right into whooooever this lady is. He stops suddenly and gives her a look - well, he's used to overly excited Trainers/fans/weirdos crashing into his path, so whatever, he'll bite. But first...]

Er - hi. What did you call me?

[Alice has already dealt with her freak out and is partially okay with this now. Only partially. She wouldn't really say anything but... Oh my god.

Was that... Gary...? Better yet.... Was that a Eevee? It would make sense.... Gary always had a Eevee.]

Okay, you can't be serious....

[OOC: Alice only recognizes him from the cartoon and maybe the games. Once it's pointed out to her, she'll call him Green from that point on.]

[Green's moved his search to the ground now, checking around the bases of bushes and benches. Looking down makes it easy for him to almost run into people, which happens just now.

Green stops in his tracks and looks up before a collision actually happens.] Sorry.

[And he's back on his way looking at the ground!]

[Not why she reacted, but that works.]

Ah... Wait a minute! You-

You can't be real.

[Well now he has to mind. Someone can't be running around saying he isn't real or anything.

Green stops in his tracks and turns around to look at her properly.] You got something to say?

[That's totally understandable.]

I get it.... You're cosplaying. That has to be it. That's a damn good cosplay then.

[Hey now, that's low. At least she's got Green's full attention now.]

I'm not some weirdo Pokemaniac if that's what you're getting it. It's Green. You know, from Viridian? [It's easy to forget he's probably not in Kanto anymore, but come on, surely loads of people around here know who he is!]

Not quite. [Green? What?] Isn't your name Gary Oak?

[ Who is this smelly ex-champion. Ew.

They seem to be going the same way but there's no way Silver's going to say anything when he doesn't recognize him, at least, not directly? Lyra or Ethan may have mentioned him in passing.

It's not like he cares enough to pay attention, anyway, but he recognizes the Eevee perched on his shoulder well enough. besides if our eyes meet we have to battle. ]

[Green vaguely remembers from hundreds of Ethan+Lyra phone calls something about a redheaded grumpy butt who's really alright once you get to know him, but Green didn't really care about listening to their blabbering at the time (or ever). Trainers and stories come and go, no one can expect him to keep up with it all.

Green does notice him in passing, but continues on his merry journey looking at the ground.]

[ Hey, at least they have something in common from all of that. Green's not talking to him, and he's not talking back, which means it's all the better for Silver to pass him when he needs to turn his corner. He's trying to slide past Green with the minimal amount of contact, but the way is thin, and he can't help bumping into Green at least a couple of times as he slides through.

Apologies are for loses. At least he hasn't shoved you yet. ]

[He better not start with a whole shoving battle. Green was shoving kids around way before Silver did; clearly he wouldn't be able to stand a chance.

The bumping is kind of rude but Green's too busy to do much about it. He settles for some passive aggressive muttering instead.] Geez.

[ He does what he wants, you ain't my dad. ]

[ Silver's own response is no less grateful as he turns to shoot Green a glare. ]

What, did I stutter? [He's not trying to look for a fight but, well, it's just in his nature.]

[Red is wandering nonchalantly around the district, just minding his own business until suddenly he sees the back of a very familiar person just ahead of him. Since this is a person he hasn't seen in three years now, he can't help but stop and wonder if he's just seeing things. The Eevee on the boy's shoulder seems to indicate that Red's eyes probably aren't fooling him, but he should go confirm this for himself. It's funny; Red used to do whatever he could to avoid Green, but now he finds himself actually wanting to talk to him.

If Green is just as obnoxious now as he was back then, Red will probably come to regret his decision soon enough, but for now he's just going to go catch up to his old rival.]

Green?

[His own shoulder companion, Pikachu, greets Green and his Eevee happily.]

[Green's search for the rest of his Pokemon team is not going as swiftly as he would have liked. Surely it'd be easy enough to ditch this place now, but any Trainer wouldn't feel comfortable running off before checking for their six at least twice. So he'll probably have to stay in this weirdo place with weirdo people for a bit longer. Lame.

He's so lost in his thoughts that he almost jumps when Eevee suddenly chirps loudly and bounces onto the ground behind him in a mad rush.] Eevee? What's gotten into...you...

[He turns around and freezes up.]
