Who: Doll, Victor, and Pinkie Pie (but if your character should spot the balloons and want to check out what's going on, why not?)
What: Sleepover party! Just because! (And isn't that the best reason?)
When: Two days, ICly, after the fog appeared. (backdated liek whoah)
Where: Doll's house in Mallowhallow

What better place to have a slumber party, than in a doll's house? )

A few helium balloons, tied to a little bean bag so that they didn't float away, sat outside in the front yard, idly swaying in the light little breeze, just waiting to attract the attention of the guests.

Come inside and say hello?

Who: Victor Van Dort and whoever may be in Astralfield at the time
What: Victor finds himself suddenly in the possession of a most peculiar book. . .
Where: Astralfield -- specifically, near his usual bench
When: June 13th, around 2 in the afternoon
Warnings: Shouldn't be an issue

For the first day, Victor's perfectly happy to follow Tronctor's injunction to stay inside. After all, he lives in Astralfield -- the district where you don't need portals to experience random crap flying in from everywhere. Anything that manages to add to the chaos that already stalks the streets is definitely to be avoided. He has his keyboard and his sketchbook -- who needs to go outside?

When the second day dawns bright and sunny, though, and it becomes clear that, despite Tronctor's warnings, most people are just going about their day as usual, Victor decides to venture out of doors. Strange objects like potted cacti and half a ship's mast litter the ground, and what looks like a wooly mammoth lumbers down a nearby street, but it's impossible to tell if they're from the portals or people's heads. It's just like any other day, Victor realizes, and decides to get some grocery shopping done.

And promptly narrowly avoids getting clobbered by a book falling out of the sky.

His first response is to yelp and fall over with a thud. His second is to glare at the book that nearly took his head off. His third is to gape at it. It's large, rather old book, bound in cracking brown leather, and with the title "A Compendium of Magic" written on the front in gold. But that's not what making him stare.

It's the name of the author.

"Theodor Gutknecht."

He snatches it up and dashes over to the nearest place to sit, which just so happens to be his usual bench. Sitting down, he opens it and starts to read.

Who: Doll (OC) and OPEN!
What: Doll, first going shopping, and then making cookies and an impromptu party (originally?) revolving around that.
Where: Mallowhallow, but everyone's invited!
Warnings: Excessive fun? (None yet)

Snacks sounded like a good idea to Doll, honestly. Sweet things... like gummy bears. And marshmallows. And chocolate.

So into the shopping cart, those things went! And Doll paused, looking at the bag of cookies it'd just put into the cart. Because cookies were definitely a good idea... but making cookies was an even better one! And after finding the recipe on the back of a bag of chocolate chips, Doll set about gathering the ingredients, and putting those into its cart too.

After it managed, somehow, to get everything back to the pillow-district, it set the toaster-oven it was going to use for baking the cookies aside, and tried following the directions on the bag of chips.

Whether or not Doll's cookies turned out well, everyone is invited to come join it to help it, or at least help eat the results, especially since Doll itself was incapable of doing so, what with having no mouth and all.

> Say hi while Doll's out shopping?
> Help it make a mess cookies?
> Eat the snacks?
> Mingle?

Who: Terezi Pyrope and whoever drops by....
What: The alien troll girl is holding a ferocious trial. Apparently the plush rabbit has mortally offended the velveteen beetle....
Where: Mallowhallow
When: March 8th

Within the plush confines of Mallowhallow, Terezi Pyrope is holding court in front of her brightly-coloured pillow house. It mostly seems to be made of red pillows. Arranged in a jury-row is a line of stuffed animals in varying sizes and shapes. Several are plush scalemates. A lone blue plush rabbit sits in the position of the accused. A purple-and-green velveteen beetle sits watching. Perched high on a tower of pillows is a large red lobster.

Terezi, wearing her black Libra T-shirt and black jeans, is pacing before the accused and addressing the lobster in a loud voice, obviously in full swing and enjoying herself.

"Yes, Mister Azure Longears, we have brought you here today to accuse you of most foul slander! Mister Violetcarapace has brought forth the complaint! It is written here in most revealing, distasteful language!"

She whips a piece of paper from her pocket and slaps it down in front of the rabbit, dropping into a kneel, cane slanted out sideways. She grins at the hapless rabbit, all razor teeth and murderous glee.

Who: Everyone and everyone!
What: Welcoming in the new members to Mallow Hallow
Where: Everywhere!
When: March 2nd.

[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

I suppose that's all. Well then, bye now, dears! And let the word spread—Mallow Hallow is up and rising once again!
