His arm was still around Tyler's shoulders, and tightened just a little, just enough to be barely noticeable. Reid wasn't even entirely aware that he did it.]

You both are. [Carrying on like there was nothing wrong, that was Reid's way of going about this.]

_{[Balfour smiles teasingly, but takes a step back, getting 'out of the way' of what was going on between Tyler and Reid. If anything, at least they might find happiness.]}

[ he notices the way Reid's arm tightens around him, but he doesn't say anything right now. he knows Reid wouldn't want that. instead he just gives a reassuring smile Balfour's way ]

It's a win/win situation for us both then.

Even if it's still weird as fuck sometimes. [That they looked alike. But he was getting used to it, he really was. He could live with this.]

_{[He's back to that formal tone again, his body having settled down enough that he feels confident leaving their tiny little huddle.]}

[ he declines the offer just because he knows that he needs to talk to Reid and that should probably happen when he's not drunk off his rocker ]

[Any more and he wouldn't be held responsible for whatever happened. He needed to just relax for a while.]

Well, I'm going to go get something. I'll be back in a few minutes.

[He smiles, shifting uncomfortably as he backs away the first few steps, then turns and hurries across the room, anxious to get away. What had he gotten himself into? Well obviously nothing too serious, at least, given the way Reid and Tyler were hanging on each other, but it was still unnerving. He'd never even had a boyfriend, much less had sex, so why was he teasing and offering sch a thing to those two? And why did he hope for more than just one time?

He isn't sure he's ready for this.]

[ he notices how Balfour hurries of and a worried look appears on his face ]

Do you think we scared him off?

[garwin]

Hope not. [He removed his arm from around Ty's shoulders now.] Probably my fault if we have though.

He just needs time to get used to all of this. [Reid shrugged.]

Well, he did kind of rush away like a scared puppy.

Why do you think it's your fault?

He's been like a scared puppy a lot. [Reid wasn't...even surprised by it any more, really.]

I dunno. This is me we're talking about. He's shy, I'm not. [He had been pretty physical and blunt about things. He just figured because of that if anyone was to blame, it was him.]

[ he punches your shoulder softly ]

Most of the time shy people need someone like you to bring them out of their shell.

Yeah, alright [He rolled his eyes playfully and smiled. He was still considering backing off a little though. Maybe from Tyler instead of Balfour.]

I hope you're not too upset that I interrupted you two earlier.

[ he's confused by that. incredibly confused ]

A party's a party, man. And most of the time it isn't a party without you.

I don't know. Maybe you wanted to kiss someone without me getting in the way.

[He avoided eye contact and shook his head a little.]
