Open Log (with one closed thread)!
WHO: AU!Kurama, Yusuke, and whoever else would like to join in!
WHAT: Kurama's going to be wandering around Highcrest pawning off some of the things he and AU!Shoshanna have been stealing since they got here. Feel free to jump in with any kinds of interactions - he'll be hanging around the bars to get information and the seedier shops with keepers who are wiling to buy stolen goods.
WHERE: All over Highcrest.
WHEN: Any time since the announcement of currency - he'll be making trips into town nearly every day.
Unlike many of the others, Kurama has no concerns about the implementation of currency in Mallow Hallow - in fact, he's almost glad for it, as it finally gives him something to do. Their little claimed cottage has been piling up with trinkets and baubles and assorted other finery since they arrived, and sitting on all of that has begun to make Kurama anxious - he's glad for the chance to get rid of it.
And how simple it is! Nearly everyone is looking for easy money, and buying some shiny for a decent price only to turn around and foist it off for a profit is almost as easy as it comes. Not to mention that Kurama's willing to part with his wares for much lower than most of his fences are expecting - and why not? It's not like much of this took any effort to obtain in the first place. And there's just so much of it.
The only thing he has to be careful of is how often he visits any individual merchant. Too many visits too close together would seem to imply that he is desperate to get rid of the goods - either because they're sorely missed by their owners, or because he needs the money. Neither is true, of course, but Kurama loathes the idea that anyone could even think that of him. So he takes it little by little, always only what he can easily carry in the many concealed pockets sewn cleverly into his cloak, and he's careful to limit his visits to any one fence to no more than once every few weeks.
This makes him a common enough sight around Highcrest, always with his hood drawn up over his bright hair, always walking smoothly and surely through the streets so as not to draw attention by attempting to be more inconspicuous. He pays several visits to the bars (there's no one half so good at ferrying messages along as a bartender) and stays out of the paths of the Knights, and if his idle hands can't sometimes help themselves from cutting a fat purse or two, well - at least it won't all sit in the cottage anymore, will it?

Slow, sorry
"Look at what the cat dragged out." Or should have said fox? "You're that Kurama."
Nah, I'm really slow, too.
So there is a fair bit of jingling when he whirls in response to hearing his name called by a voice he definitely doesn't recognize. 'That Kurama', he thinks. So this is another one who's met the imposter.
His eyes narrow slightly, and he responds icily, "To be sure."
