Plants Rising!
Who: Sophie, Kodachi, Kazuma
What: Old School blind raidi- Er, a living plant infestation in Crystalden.
When: June 13th
Where: VVC Stations
Warnings: Botanic massacre ahead.
It started off unnoticed, then overnight VVC Stations, a fifty floor media station for both television and radio, was completely infested with vines that have somehow blocked all transmissions. To no one's surprise their attack force has decided to try and take care of all the chaos without outside help, but the numerous other disasters have spread the response teams thin- for now the building is just manned for a few small squadrons to try and contain the situation.
Kodachi Kuno has caught wind of this and is determined to get some plant samples for herself, and so arranged a raid under the guise of alleviating a part of Crystalden's troubles. Sadly, she hasn't the slightest idea of how the technology within the tower works, but it will all work itself out somehow, right? Of course!
The threats have been confirmed as multiple types of plant monsters: mobile flowers with teethed petals, mobile flowers with blooming petals, and bipedal trees; all running rampant and acting like they own the place.
Right now the group is merely half a block away from the chaos and heading closer- Of course they stick out like a sore thumb, despite the strange things rampaging the streets, but for the most part they're being ignored. As to be expected.
"The citizens haven't been very cooperative in providing any more useful information," Kodachi murmurs to her small group with a frown. "So it looks as though we will have to figure out things on our own along the way. The plan, for now, is to rush inside, reach the top floor, identify which of the beasts is blocking the airwave signals, then destroy them. With the leader defeated that should, in theory, make clean-up for the others easier. And don't worry about breaking anything, that isn't really our concern. So let us fight honorably!"
She's just winging all of this; this situation is a lot more different than leading a gymnastics team! And with that she presses her fingertips together with a bright smile.
"Oh and most importantly: let's have fun~. Any questions?"

"I understand. I'll do my best to help. And protect Kodachi too!"
Because Sophie is all about the protecting. That and crablettes are usually the best way to convince her of anything. But she wants to help, aware the plants are causing problems, so of course when Kodachi asks, she agrees to come along. She ensures her gauntlets are on properly before they proceed even closer.

"Don't worry about your back, I got it too," he replies after the smaller girl replies. It's strange that such a delicate looking girl's helping the out but he suppose that appearances were definitely not everything.

Sadly this will be an extremely disorganized run; she hasn't even properly accessed the pairs strengths and weaknesses for them to perform as a single unit. But, no time like the present to learn now!
"That said, let's go!"
Kodachi takes the lead and sprints down the street, then leaps right over the blockade manned by the Crystalden soldiers that are firing at the group of lashers, roughly three feet in height.
that stagger out from the building's entrance. The trio are greeted by a wide, circular- Straight ahead are a set of 4 wide pillars covered in thick vines that are apparently elevators. The group is ignored by the lashers at first, but once Kodachi starts pushing buttons it seems to agitate them and a group of seven start to head in their direction.
"Hmmn.. Well.. This may take a moment; you two didn't forget your promise, right? Hold them off for a bit?"

She can do that.
"Okay!"
She's had plenty of experience fighting back home, not to mention some were plants, so this isn't anything too new to her, and she uses her gauntlets to great effect against the lasher, punching it and expertly dodging out of the way when it goes to attack.
Sophie is doing fine up until one of the vines manages to catch her hair, wrapping around one of her ponytails and swinging her back down to the ground. Even that doesn't seem to phase her too much though. She's pretty tough, needs to be to go up against Lambda back home.
"Is the elevator working yet?" she asks, attempting to get the lasher's vines from around her hair.

"Reiken!"
With that shout he slashes at a good chunk of the plants, sending them in shreds and he keeps that pattern up. They aren't smart things so Kuwabara can make swift movements without too much thinking. He takes a quick stance to dash at a row of them, slashing through them like paper.
"Yeah, these buggers ain't nothing!"
He's having way too much fun with this. The two girls seems okay as he glances over. If anything happens he'll jump in to help them too, but for now he keeps the rear.
Please forgive my slowness. orz
"Just another moment~." Kodachi sing-songs, clearly very confident of the duo's combat ability! However she seems to get something right because eventually a large disc shoots down the tube and the double-doors open. ".. Oops. Sophie-dear, could you take care of this?"
Kodachi leaps upward and clings to the area above the doors; and in a smooth motion whips a rose at the lasher that's gotten Sophie tangled right in the mouth. After two seconds it explodes, which may send her partner stumbling back a little toward the beasts in question, two tree-like creature walking upon two legs and orange-yellow leaves upon some of it's branches.
They look rather sturdy, but they may not provide much challenge for Sophie either as all they can really do is swing at her with their clawed 'hands'.
Kuwabara seems to be having little trouble with the small Lasher swarm; the group is quite easily dispatched thanks to boths efforts. However they steadily continue to swarm out from east and west doorways, most of them beelining toward the exit, though they do start to arrive in greater numbers, in a group of fourteen.
"Just a moment more, Kuwabara-san! Be ready to fall back!"
