From the sounds of it, you needed to be. Was SHIELD involved in bringing the Avengers together?

No, SHIELD tried to recruit a couple of us in the past, but it was Tony's idea that we could all team up on our own after we took down Graviton.

Speaking of which, we're trying to get things figured out here. We could use all the help we could get, if you're interested.
