Who: Grimsley and you!!!
What: Grimsley's got to do whatever he can.
Where: Wherever!
When: All day, the 13th!

This was... embarrasing. But it had to be done.

Grimsley hadn't fed enough for a long time, since he arrived. He'd gotten a bit from Absol and Liepard, sure. But it wasn't enough - he needed to find some humans, a few of them - so he wouldn't kill them, of course. He'd just take enough to survive, shared between a few. But... he couldn't ruin his reputation.

And so, there was only one option. All around the whole world, all though the day (except for Astralfield during the night, of course), there is a blue fluffy Woobat flying around (there's more fur then a normal one - it helps protect Grimsley from the sun, even if it feels like his ability is Dry Skin), trying to find people to nuzzle into and trick.

So, have a Woobat!

In Crystalden (If that's OK!)

Dr. Insano was walking around the streets and back alleys, searching for all the equipment he needed. He wasn't yet having much luck and looked a bit distracted and down, muttering to himself under his breath something about never able to find exactly what you wanted when you needed it and that there were too many flashing lights.

Oh, he noticed alright and he let out a high pitched shriek and covered his head before he peeked out and took a better look at what had just fluttered over to him.

"Well, hello there...," he started cautiously. He'd been startled at first but this was perhaps something interesting after all...

"Woo?" He shrinks back a bit although still sounds curious. "You remind me of my son - except you're blue and fluffier and have wings and one eye... but otherwise you look just like him!"

Highcrest!

Being especially new to Mallow Hallow, Hanbei hadn't traveled out of Highcrest yet and he didn't plan to for a while, lest something came up. He wanted time to gather his bearings and continue to explore his ... new environment. Ha.

That being said, he's walking around the walkways of Highcrest, trying to avoid bumping shoulders with the natives and keeping to himself. He's a bit on guard for reasons, but a little ... bat..? A bat? Yeah its a bat. Wouldn't bother him. Yeah. Sure.

[personal profile] vanishinglife 2013-03-14 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Well, color him surprised! Hanbei eyes the Woobat, a bit more carefully now that he's gotten a good look at it. That's not like any bat or any animal he's ever seen before. He also hasn't been introduced to any of the other Pokemon Trainers. He did hear, however, that there we so-called "fairies" in another district. So he assumes Grimsely's just another part of the world.

"Hm, this place just full of surprises." But hey, the innocent look was working for the most part. Hanbei would still be ready to react should anything happen, maybe, but he holds out his hand to see if he can invite the Woobat over and maybe get a feel of its fluff.

Wonderful! Let the petting commence. While he's petting, though, Hanbei does notice the wobbly flying. He hangs onto a handful of fluff, as lightly as he can but still with a grip on it, to try and steady the Pokemon.

"If there's something wrong with you, then you've come to the wrong person. I highly doubt I can help you." He's not very good at dealing with animals.

Maybe it wasn't surprising that a few locals walking their own dogs were giving Rosa funny looks as she walked alongside Ziggy, her Arcanine. It had to be either because he took up most of the sidewalk and was the size of four or five of those dogs combined, or because she didn't have him on a leash -- and she kind of hoped it was the former, because a leash law would be troublesome. Aside from the occasional curious whiffs at whatever caught his sensitive nose, he was keeping to himself and simply relishing in his time with her.

Soon, she noticed Ziggy's ears twitch and his paws pick up their pace as he caught the scent of... something, she couldn't be sure what yet. He took off in a few long leaps, but not long enough to lose his Trainer entirely as she followed his tracks.

"Slow down, you! What's so important that you need to--"

She didn't bother to finish the rest of that question when the sight of a Woobat on the extra-fluffy side greeted her around the turn of a corner. It occurred to her, then, that since there were no wild Pokemon here, surely he must have belonged to someone...?

"Down, boy," Rosa murmured to her companion, and then, "Hey, little cutie! Do you have a Trainer nearby?"

wails, I have been miserably sick, sorry!

The intimidated act only served to pull on Rosa's heart strings harder, though -- she withdrew her hand after starting to extend it, watching the Woobat carefully. Ziggy, perhaps in knowing that his words were not, in fact, communicable, started trying to stick his oversized dog-nose in the thick fuzz, creeping closer every time Grimsley lurched back.

"Hey, what are you doing? The poor thing will think you're attacking him!" Rosa started to say to her Arcanine, but the scold lost its impact when she frowned, dissatisfied with the whole situation somehow. "He doesn't... seem wild, but I haven't seen anyone with a Woobat around here. Um," turning to the object of her confusion, "I'm not going to hurt you or capture you, but it might be really dangerous for a wild Pokemon here. I mean, you're the only one, and all..."
