Tea For Two

What: Tea time!
Where: Random Coffee Shop in Orlea
When: 3/21 early afternoon

[Rarity trotted, and soon, the coffee shop she had found earlier was in sight. Phone was floating at her side, a purple and white device, like a bluetooth headset, hooked around her right ear.]

Hm...

[She looks around, then sees the girl from the communicator, lifting a hoof in greeting as she smiles.]

Over here, darling!

[Rikka turns at the call; she pauses for a moment, taking in the surreal scene. That is, in fact a unicorn, with a cell phone floating next to her, wearing glasses, and raising a hoof in greeting. Oh, and talking to her, but after Raquel that's not so bad anymore. After a moment, she grins; time with Mana, and then with Raquel in the last few weeks, had dulled her to these sorts of shocks, and she starts over, waving.]

Were you waiting long? I'm still not totally used to this place yet.

[She had fallen asleep with her glasses on; working on a big job back home had called for an all-nighter. She was convinced that was why she wound up with them here.]

Oh, not at all. And believe me, I know the feeling. Not sure I'll ever get used to it, honestly.

[diamondlight]

Yeah... I could navigate back home without a second thought, but here I'm not sure I'll ever really think of it as... [The girl fishes for a word.]

...well, home. Do you know what I mean?

Oh, of course. My home is back in Ponyville, at my boutique.

But enough of such unpleasant talk. I'm dying for a good cup of tea.

[She turns, walking toward the coffee shop.]

[ Ponyville? | > Boutique? ]

A boutique? Like a clothing store? That would be kind of neat... And yes, tea sounds good. It's been a long day already.

[Rikka tries not to think of depressing things, and follows along.]

Oh, yes. Carousel Boutique. Currently, the only location rests in Ponyville, but I hope to have a location in Canterlot someday. That's one of my biggest dreams.

[They enter the shop, and Rarity sniffs the air.]

Ah, now this is a much more pleasant aroma. I can feel myself calming down already.

Maybe you'll get a chance to make clothes here, too? All the districts wear different clothing, but it'd be fun to see.

[Rikka's right behind, and she smiles.]

Not quite the same as home, but close enough.

That's my hope. I've had trouble finding a fabric shop though.

[She steps up the the counter and frowns, noting it's too tall for her.]

We should be able to find one somewhere... Mallowhallow aside, everyone needs clothing, and the materials have to come from somewhere. Logically speaking, there must be a fabric shop somewhere.

[Rikka notices this, frowning, and looks around; eventually her gaze falls on a small, empty wooden box, and after a moment she's not next to Rarity anymore, having moved to try and get it over. It's heavy enough to make her work for it, but not so heavy she can't lift it, and after a few seconds she's brought it over to the counter, turning it over and setting it in front of the clerk. Maybe this will be high enough for Rarity to be seen?]
