[ you might have gotten a nice little text message in your communication device, telling you to come party in Orlea. There's all types of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, and a mixture of foods to snack on. the music is also pulsing and loud enough to get you wanting to dance.

the party will go on all night till the morning, so bring a date or just bring yourself ]

Sometimes I get made fun of, but I never care when it happens. I'll do what I want and right now I want to dance with you.

[And now he's really blushing, putting a tomato to shame as he nods and steps forward, finishing his punch.]

Okay then. I can…I can agree to that.

[So straightforward. He appreciated that.]

So let's get to dancing then.

[ he's going out to a nice clear area where they can do this ]

[So the idea of dancing with someone who looked like he could be his twin was a little unsettling, but he figured that it would be funny anyway for any onlookers. He follows Tyler with no objections, looking around the room, then at the ground of the dance area. Okay. All smooth. Now how...?]

Okay I'm out here now. What do I do?

Just move with me.

[ he gets up into your personal space and starts doing an easy dance. one that barely picks his feet of the ground ]

[And though Balfour isn't used to people in his personal space or touching him, he decides to trust Tyler and do as he was told.

He's stiff, self conscious.]

Loosen up a bit. Don't try too hard or it won't work.

Ah, uh, how? I can't really…figure out how to move my body like that.

First rule for dancing is: relax.

Again how?

[He's looking a bit more freaked out now.]

Just breathe slowly and loosen your muscles up.

[He does as he's told, but he's still very tense. The room is crowded, and the fact that someone just brushed against his back didn't help at all. He jerks forward, away from the contact, and knocks into Tyler, then apologizes as he tries to take a step back.

Way too crowded--No. Breathe.

He forced his muscles to unravel at least a little.]

[ he doesn't mind being knocked into, he puts up a reassuring hand though to let you know that he doesn't mind ]

Don't worry about it. How about we take a small break and hang near the punch bowl.

No. No. I want to learn this.

[And he'd learn how to dance like the rest of these people if it killed him. As long as no one decided that he was 'marriageable material' it would be okay.]

Come on. Lets try again.

Alright, just try to move with the music and me.

O-okay.

[But he's still nervous and stiff, though not as stiff as before. And his hips move, which is a definite improvement.]

Hey, you're doing great so far.

[ he just keeps the dance slow and easy for you, though ]

[blueeyedflyboy]

[He sighs at the encouragement and keeps moving, his body relaxing a bit more, hips swinging a bit better. It was a wonder what a body could do when not locked up like that.]

[Because hey! He's dancing!

He looks at Tyler a moment, considering something, them decides against it.]

I may be bad at this, but I can sweep you off your feet in a waltz.

[Is he flirting? Or joking?]

Man, you probably could.

That's sort of what you get for growing up with a family like mine.

_{[He laughs, but it's embarrassed.]}

Balls, fancy parties, uptight people constantly judging you.

_{[Rich people problems.]}

And a personal tutor to make sure that you can sweep the girls off their feet.

_{[And, feeling goofy, he reaches forward and grabs Tyler, one hand on his waist, the other grabbing his hand, and spins him around a couple times, the beat in his head but still perfect timing.]}

[ he laughs when you do that, obviously enjoying the ride ]

And now you're here where there's none of that at all.

Exactly. It's a little disconcerting!

_{[He laughs and twirls Tyler once more before letting go and running a hand through his hair, trying to smooth the flyaway locks.]}

But I'm having fun, at least. I like not having all that pressure.
