[Oh. Well, even though it couldn't talk, Chimera still thought it seemed awful nice. It wasn't even too hard for him to figure out the things it was trying to say.]

It's alright! It could have happened to anyone. I imagine pillow structures wouldn't have the sturdiest designs anyway. Who would even think of building a whole city out of them?

*Doll shrugged, a little melodramatically, rolling those faintly-glowing yellow irises behind its face's mask-like . It was so silly an idea, right? Like Chimera said -- who would build a city out of them! Pffft!*

*...except, that expression was turning into a rather sheepish smile. Yeah, Doll would think to build a whole city out of them, that's who! Haha... silly toy!*

*It was a little hesitant, perhaps shy, but it gestured for the other to follow. Doll pointed to itself, and then a nearby pillow house which was still standing, and then gestured the way it had presumably come, looking at him hopefully. Its own pillow-house was that way, if Chimera wanted to follow, to go see it?*

[Chimera would totally build a wicked pillow fort himself, but...maybe not a whole city. It just didn't seem safe.

He tilted his head to the side a little, looking from Doll to where it was pointing and back again. It took a few seconds but he got it.]

Oh! Yeah, sure, I'll go with you. [He smiled brightly. He hadn't picked out a house for himself yet, but seeing someone else's would be cool.]

*Doll grinned again at that, bouncing up and down a bit like a young child might (it really was one, in a sense) before it began to head off between the houses, pausing to look back after two or three of them, to make sure Chimera was there following. It wasn't as though it was traveling particularly quickly; it didn't have quite the strength needed to run very fast on such soft ground, nor was it trying to.*

*Satisfied that Chimera was with it, it led... well, not all that very far away, actually, to a large pillow-house covered in blankets. A sheet was hanging down over the entrance for a "door" and everything; someone had put a lot of effort into this place.*

*Doll pulled the sheet aside to enter, holding it for Chimera. Inside, it was actually quite roomy, with what looked like a giant pillow for furnishings. On a second glance, it seemed more like a giant pillowcase, perhaps a big sheet or something, filled with smaller pillows. And Doll looked quite proud of all of this, the look on its face something that could only be described as a grin.*

[Of course Chimera followed-he was eager, and curious. Generally he didn't trust strangers enough to follow them, given his background and all of the reasons he had not to trust people, but Doll seemed very nice and, well, that was good enough for Chi.

He blinked up at the house when they reached it, and scurried inside when Doll held the door open. This was probably the coolest thing he'd ever seen.]

Wow, this is so cool. Did you do all of this?

*Plus, Doll was neither heavy nor strong; Chimera could surely win any tangle with it easily. Right? And Doll's being such a child about this, grinning so widely...!*

*But it has to shake its head at the question, and pats the "wall" of the house, shaking its head again, before patting lightly at the sheet-for-a-door and the blankets-for-a-ceiling, nodding at each of those, and then heading to the giant custom-made bed thing, indicating it and nodding again, before flopping down onto it. Doll sinks in a bit, making it look all sorts of soft and comfortable, and then pushes itself back up to bounce on it a little.*

*Then, still grinning, it waves Chimera over. Come bounce on the bed-like multi-pillow mass with it? :D ....which he might want to be careful with. With Doll weighing so very little, and yet still making such an impression on the mound there, it must be giving quite a bit. Which means that to the other's far greater weight, it may not provide much resistance.*

*On the other hand, the floor (and, who knows, perhaps even the ground!) is made of pillows too. Even if he was too much for it, it would be like ending up on the floor.*

*Doll, meanwhile, is too happy to simply bounce a bit there, enjoying its soft house like... well, like a doll that's found the perfect dollhouse for itself.*
