After talking with Tony Stark, Dr. Insano had spoken to a few other people through the network then attempted to figure out how to find some basic comforts such as food and accommodation. Once he'd settled himself into a small but shiny new apartment he had a nap and then went out again.

He wasn't sure how much time had passed.

Peering upwards it didn't take long to find the highest skyscraper and remembering what Stark had said, he made his way to the very top, trying to find the right door and knocked. He was twitchy as he waited, fiddling with his labcoat's lapel and glancing around furtively. He may look a little suspicious even though he was legitimately invited to come here.

[Tony's dressed in his usual business suit. The suit was slowly being remade and he wasn't ready to let anyone in on it just yet. Whatever his doubts may be on this "Dr. Insano", any expertise at this point would be welcome]

Thank you!

[He continued to look fidgety but he did offer Tony an off-kilter grin. Insano himself was dressed in his own typical outfit - green scrubs, white labcoat and those ever-present goggles. Not only for show, those may be his most valuable and inventive asset - no matter how silly they looked.]

[He stepped in and past Tony and glanced around the place.]

You like heights, do you?

I like to be on top of things.

[Wow, that's some outfit.] The people here are pretty helpful so getting supplies isn't a problem.

[doctor_insano]

You must be luckier than I am. Most everyone I try to talk to doesn't know the first thing about energy crystals or science!

[The last word is punctuated with a raised fist. He loves his science.]

I don't know much about Orlea. What's it like?

[Tony leads him to a table where all the lab equipment has been set up. He's low on sleep and all he has is coffee, alcohol and tofu, but he wasn't about to show weakness now]

Orlea? What's that?

[He's from Crystalden so hasn't heard much about the other districts yet. His interest does perk up more at sight of the lab equipment.]

No, wait, you're here. God, I need a break.

Knock yourself out. I want to see what you can come up with.

[doctor_insano]

A break from what? What were you doing?

[While he questions, he's busying himself with examining what's on the table.]

Oh! And I don't think I ever got your name.

[solvabilities]

[dismissively]

Tony Stark, of Stark Industries. I've been working on setting up communications and informants to help us get out.

[doctor_insano]

Mmmmm, you are being very productive. That's good!

[He picks up something metallic and peers at it closely.]

You'll have to keep me in the loop!

[solvabilities]

... I'm still debating that. If you put out something useful, I just might.

[doctor_insano]

Why does everyone doubt me? [He says incredulously, partly to himself.]

Is it the name? It's the name, isn't it? As if Stark is oh so more reassuring a name than Insano.

[solvabilities]

... It does have insane right there. Is it a family thing though?

[doctor_insano]

Of course! Unless you believe what happened in those other dimensions.

I'm not saying I'm not insane but that doesn't mean I'm not scientifically brilliant!

[solvabilities]

Yes, those are called mad scientists.

[Tony can't really get over how transparent this guy is, but he'll take any number of Dr. Insanos over Kang or the Skrulls]

[doctor_insano]

[Definitely transparent since he doesn't hide what he is at all.]

That's what I am! I don't know why people are so surprised. Do they think that I'm really a fluffy, cute bunny underneath or something?!

No, I think they're surprised for a completely different reason altogether.

[doctor_insano]

And what do you think that reason is?

[solvabilities]

I'm not sure if I should tell you.

[doctor_insano]

We don't have any secrets now, do we? I mean, I know your name and you know my name and we're going to rule the world once I get this anti-magic field generator to work - so you can tell me anything!

[solvabilities]

["Rule the world". Tony can't help the slight shudder. It was something he could have done ... he almost succeeded too. There will always be the urge to eradicate the world's problems, to fix everything. He could be Emperor Stark once more...

But Steve's words bring him back to reality]

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not interested.

[doctor_insano]

[He blinks behind the goggles, not able to read Tony's train of thought.]

You're not interested in telling me?

[solvabilities]

I'm going to pass for now. Maybe later. I'm not much for flashbacks.

[doctor_insano]

You've lost me.

[solvabilities]

Old story. I conquered the world once.
