[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

Yeah, what's up with that, anyway? [Reno really hadn't been paying much attention to the queen's speech on account of the fact that it was really long (read that: longer than ten seconds) and he'd been much more interested in gawking at all the strangely dressed people all around him.]

Queenie didn't ever say why we all got brought here, did she? Like, what, we just supposed to hang tight and chill until someone decides to fill us in? [Actually, considering how things are going for him so far, that doesn't sound half bad.]

Tear couldn't sense that with the boy. He looked and appeared like a human child, so there was no way she thought he would pose any danger to her per say. That and if he wanted to do something, he would have, if Tear assumed correctly.

"Yes, when I travel, there are always monsters between each location, but they at least stay outside of the towns,"

She replied to his question, and taking his comment about there being no monsters. Her guard might have lessened a bit, but it didn't go away completely.

That's not the first time Zero sounded like that to him, but he could feel it, his boiling frustration. Of course, he wouldn't stop saying things like this, because he knew that's what he was. That's all he was. Even in the end, he was absolutely useless and alone. He didn't make a comment this time, since his consciousness was starting to slip away faster than he could keep up.

Zero must be hungry, starving. The smell of his blood must be driving him crazy, yet he was putting that aside for him. He was content with that, knowing that he was still important to Zero. Ichiru said nothing, since he could barely hear Zero's words, even if he wanted to say it was fine, he didn't have anymore strength to object.

In the end, I'm nothing but a burden, he thought to himself, before closing his eyes.

"Really? All day?" That's very strange. "What types of monsters?" They obviously weren't Shadows, so... what could they be?

Just as he was securing him, Zero felt the weight of him suddenly give. He quickly steadied his hold and brought him up into his arms. The sight was a familiar one, almost exactly as before, but he wouldn't let him die here, not like before. He hurried through the streets and would eventually be re-directed to a hospital where he'd stay by his side until the doctors stopped the bleeding, until they assured him he would be okay. Only then, would the fear slowly lose it's grip on his heart and begin to ebb away.
