[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

I suppose that's all. Well then, bye now, dears! And let the word spread—Mallow Hallow is up and rising once again!

You may be surprised. You would think that is how it would work, but it's never that easy.

Fascinating. What does it mean to be a champion of your home region?

it means we're the best pokemon trainers. to be a champion, a trainer has to battle the 8 gym leaders and collect their badges, and then challenge the elite 4 to and win to be able to face the current champion. i beat sinnoh's champion, cynthia, so now i'm one!

I don't particularly know what a 'Pokemon' is, let alone a 'Pokemon Trainer', a 'gym leader', or the 'Elite Four'. As far as I'm concerned, unless these Pokemon are a symbol of strength, all I can see in this is a status symbol.

[ thank god she's already met people who don't know what pokemon are. ]

i'll try to explain it better then Ψ(｀◇´)Ψ

pokemon are creatures that are part of my home. they're really powerful and have lived alongside humans for a really really long time! we can fight beside them, fight against them, befriend them and train them! someone who catches and battles with pokemon is a pokemon trainer; that's what i am （*＾ワ＾*）

gym leaders are trainers who live in one specific place in a facility that won't crumble down during a battle, and who are strong enough to give other trainers a challenge in battle. above gym leaders are the elite 4, who are the the best trainers in the region aside from the champion.

did that make sense?? （＾～＾）

Oh, yes. This person will be of use. Those Pokemon could easily be an asset in his escape, opening doors for further information and, if absolutely necessary, an assassination attempt on the king and queen. Of course, Shadow couldn't garner that much from Dawn without earning her trust.

Cue operation: flattery. ]

That is magnificent. Forgive me if I cannot come to terms with Pokemon being lead by humans and trained just yet, but as long as it is consensual, then it is fine.

That aside, I find that an interesting concept. We may be able to get along. [ So to speak. ] You are worthy of knowing my identity. I am Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog.

[ He then attaches a video feed, one of himself, this small, cute hedgehog with fiery red eyes, smiling almost deviously and waving his fingers at her. Look at him, Dawn! LOOK AT HOW KAWAII HE IS. ]

its not like pokemon don't benefit from it or are just servants (￣ヮ￣；) we learn and grow together and form lifelong bonds of friendship with each other. anyone who abuses the trust of pokemon needs to learn a lesson!!

it's really pretty here (*´・ｖ・) the fairies are rude tho so watch out for them

[ huff! ] Simple. Considering what I am - a lifeform with the ability to annihilate entire planets - it just feels unbecoming. When one pictures a creature like that, they surely expect something that looks ferocious.
