[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

I suppose that's all. Well then, bye now, dears! And let the word spread—Mallow Hallow is up and rising once again!

[He halts in his tracks when he hears someone call his name, and as he turns to catch sight of Kairi moving towards him, a wave of relief hits him so hard he feels breathless for a moment. For some reason, just seeing her makes him feel a little less despondent. Sure, he may hardly know her, but at the same time, hers is a familiar face, and that's more than he can say for any of the other faces in the sea of people moving around him.]

Well, howdy! [Once again, his smile grows a bit more genuine as he faces her.] Didn't reckon I'd be seeing you again so soon. How you holdin' up?

[ She catches a glimpse of the way his smile seems a bit forced - sometimes, she forces some smiles too, so she recognizes them - before it becomes more genuine, and the split second that she was worried becomes relief at Jesse's change of expression. Kairi makes her way closer and stops right in front of him, her own smile brightening as she looks up at him. ]

I wasn't expecting to see you so soon either, but... I figured if we're in the same place, why not work together to look for our friends?

[ She glances around, and her smile falters as she registers just how many there really are... and just how many there are with brown hair. Or silver. Kairi takes a deep breath and shakes her head slightly as she feels the doubt creeping up. Nope, she won't give up. ]

I mean, if we've got two pairs of eyes looking, we're bound to find someone, right?

[ And she really... just doesn't want to be alone, and she shifts a little closer to Jesse as she's reminded of what happens when she is. ]

[Kairi's words make him feel hopeful once again; somehow she just seems to radiate light and positivity, and so far, Jesse finds it virtually impossible to give up when she's around. What do they really know about this world anyway? Nothing, that's what. For all they know, this world is part of the same universe where everyone got lost 'in the stars' before, and Jaden could be waiting right around the corning, just as confused as them.]

You're right. [He nods, determined.] What with so many people gettin' pulled into this world, there's gotta be a pretty good chance of us findin' someone we know, ain't there?

[He glances around the crowd.] Where d'you reckon we oughta start lookin'?

[ And that's where Jesse kind of stumps her. It was a good idea in theory, but in practice is another thing. Or at least, when it comes to figuring out where to look. ]

Uh... Hm. [ Kairi looks around a bit and puffs out her cheeks a little as she thinks on that. ] Well, this place is pretty big, isn't it? It might be a little harder than I thought, but... Let's go find the end of the place and go around the outside of it? Then we can work our way in!

[ Though, after she says that, she cringes a little at the way it sounds. ]

Unless there's a better way to do it?

[Hey, Kairi's suggestion is as good as any; it isn't like Jesse knows his way around either. At least her idea is a systematic approach, which might not result in them getting completely lost.]

[He nods.] Makes sense to me. At least we already know where the edge of Astralfield is, so we can start there... Hopefully without another dreamberry encounter.
