[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

[Uh oh, logic isn't Aoi's strong point.] He wasn't in any of the photos of our class... [But then, neither was anyone to whom each photo had been given. It could have been another trick.]

But that could have been Monobear tricking us again! Two years of our memories were erased, so maybe what he's talking about happened before! [Yup that's gotta be it, no doubts!]

[yeah he doesn't know what you're talking about here at all, Asahina. He'll have to ask about that later. Right now? There are other things he can go on about. Because the things Asahina is saying bother him and he's never seen proof of that. Not yet, anyway.]

There's no proof whatsoever whatever you're on about and the lies he's told are connected. There's another way he could have known about Monobear and his rules.

[and he has a feeling he'll have to clarify here, because welp. Asahina is... Asahina.]

It was broadcast, wasn't it? Everything that happened in the school was sent out and displayed on televisions across Japan. Who's to say he didn't learn about it that way?

[Hold on. For that to happen they'd need a whole bunch of cameras.... There were cameras all over the island too.]

... Wait, you're not saying that those cameras all over the place, that's what they're for!?

[Kuzuryuu seems honestly shocked by this news!?]

[Yes, thanks for clarifying, that had fallen to the back of her mind and gotten buried under donuts.]

Oh right! Yeah, I guess so... But I don't know how many people might have been watching... [Those pictures of the outside world haven't faded. With the world ended, how many people could even watch TV?] It didn't look very likely.

I don't know... [She doesn't know your name yet.] That's what we were told, and we saw the video room in person.

[He's not sure he's buying that, sorry Kuzuryuu. It does kind of bother him, though, since the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes Kuzuryuu should have known about Monobear's M.O. if he were watching. The broadcast was to spread despair, wasn't it? It's something he needs to think about, but it's not a possibility he's ruled out.]

It wasn't just the video room we saw, we saw a television hooked up to receive the signal. Though whether it was sent to only that one television or actually sent out elsewhere remains to be seen, I suppose.

[All this talk has sort of taken the wind out of his angry tsun sails, though.

He glances down at Togami's stab wound.]

You should probably do something about that, else it'll get infected.

I'm not stupid. Did you really think I would go about my business with an open wound on my leg?

[because he won't, okay. And at the very least, he can use this to see just how hospitable these people here are. Because spoilers: Togami is probably a demanding patient.

But that said, he turns his attention to Asahina again.]

Asahina. You are going to report to me with detailed information on everything you've just said. Preferably now.

[....Well, Togami giving orders isn't new. There's a small sigh.]

Well... We were all students at Hope's Peak Academy for two years before Monobear erased our memories, and...in that time, the world ended. Monobear showed us pictures of the outside, it was...awful. Apparently we were the ones who put up the iron plates, barricading ourselves inside the school for our own safety, and we all agreed to it.

And then...Super High-School Level Despair reached us, too.

[She'll pause for questions, that probably sparked a few. Given the world ending and all came as a huge bombshell the first time.]
