[ Once everyone’s settled in their particular districts, no doubt thousands of questions running between each individual mind, there’s an announcement. Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Ahem! Can you hear me? Ah, right then.

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

I suppose that's all. Well then, bye now, dears! And let the word spread—Mallow Hallow is up and rising once again!

"Thank you," Pharos said, "but I haven't seen my friend yet. I'm not sure she's here at all." And yes, that 'friend' was singular.

"You're welcome."

She replied nodding her head. She caught that when he said 'friend.' It seemed like he didn't have many people from his words, "My name is Tear Grants and yours?" she mused briefly to him. She saved the whole soldier title because he was a child and she didn't want to further surprise him.

"Pharos. It's very nice to meet you." He was meeting a lot of people today. It was nice, if a bit... odd.

"A pleasure to meet you, Pharos. Please remain at my sides at all time," she mused giving him a gentler look. Tear was fond of younger people, and did not want to scare him. She would rather him be near her if anything were to happen because this place was foreign and unknown. Children should not be left unattended, especially those that fell into the civilian category.

"At all times...?" Pharos frowned a little, considering this. He assumed this was an exaggeration (humans liked those, didn't they?), but he couldn't be sure unless he asked. He could do it, but he would like to explore a bit more as well.

[ooc: also if she doesn't tell him it's not literal she might wake up with him sitting on her bed staring at her. ...but he might do that anyway. XD]

"Yes, I am unsure of how dangerous it is here at the moment. Please do not stray on your own at the moment," she replied, not really understanding his question. It seemed to her like he was trying to clarify that it was safe to remain by her side for now. She didn't think he would take it literally unfortunately. Tear was a little too serious at times.

[ ooc: Tear doesn't really get what he means when he asked that so yeah that might just happen lol. It would be amusing though and well there you have it XD. ]

"Well, alright." If she said so. Though, he wasn't clear on whose safety she was concerned for. It would be alright, though. He'd look after her, as much as he was able. "Do you know what district you were told to stay in?"

[ooc: clearly we should make a post or something.]

"I'll help you find your friend," she said after a moment of silence. She knew that it wasn't fair for him to trust a complete stranger, but Tear only did what she thought was right as a soldier and as a fighter. She wouldn't want him to do that seeing that she was quite capable of defending herself but she knew there were some people who would behave that way no matter what.

"This current...district it seems. I believe it is called Astralfield," she mused remembering the name from earlier. An odd name for a district but she had more important things to be concerned about than the name of this place.

"Me too." That was quite lucky, wasn't it? "Would you like to look for your friends a little more, or find somewhere to stay?" He really doubted they'd find Minako, so he didn't mention that.

[ooc: do you have plurk? I'm on my phone at the moment so I can't do aim right now.]

"If that is what you want to do," she added looking around still and keeping her guard up for possible monster attacks. Unfortunately Tear hadn't gotten over the fact that there might not be monsters like the ones in her world, "I suppose it would be best to find a shelter somewhere. It would be easier if we have a place to return to if there we cannot find anyone," she replied to him while analyzing the situation. It would be best to take the boy somewhere safe first, and continue looking a little later.

Pharos watched her quietly as she looked around, curious as to her behavior. "What are you looking for?" he asked. She might have been looking for her friends still, but it didn't seem like it.

[ooc: sent a friend request. \o/]

Tear turned back to him as he asked her that. Did it seem strange to him that she was surveying her surroundings?

"There could be monsters here," for all they knew, so it was better to be safe than sorry with Tear.

Monsters? Like shadows? Well, in a way, she was looking at one. Either than that... "I haven't seen any. Do you normally see monsters when you're walking around?"

[ooc: \o/ yay! If you send me a private plurk we can chat, but I'll be slow since... phone. XD;]

Tear couldn't sense that with the boy. He looked and appeared like a human child, so there was no way she thought he would pose any danger to her per say. That and if he wanted to do something, he would have, if Tear assumed correctly.

"Yes, when I travel, there are always monsters between each location, but they at least stay outside of the towns,"

She replied to his question, and taking his comment about there being no monsters. Her guard might have lessened a bit, but it didn't go away completely.

"Really? All day?" That's very strange. "What types of monsters?" They obviously weren't Shadows, so... what could they be?

"There are animal types, wild beasts, and perhaps plants as well," she replied defining what she recalled from her journeys. There were many to point out and they were nothing like Shadows, not that Tear would know that.

[darkhourdear]

"Plants?" That was certainly different. Shadows had many different forms, but he couldn't think of one that was a plant.

"Yes. There are many different breeds of monsters that exist in my world," she replied nodding her head. It seemed like he had never heard of that before, but considering their situation, she wasn't too surprised that he didn't know.

"I see..." Well, maybe he'd get to see some eventually. It was hard to tell, in this place.

"Do they not exist in your world?" she mused giving the boy a quizzical look.

"Monsters, or plant monsters?" Pharos asked, looking up at her, "I've never seen anything that looks like a plant, but I suppose some things from my world could be considered monsters."

[melodyoftheabyss]

"Monsters in general," she answered to his words but he did confirm that he had never seen anything that looked lik plants, "What are they, if I may ask?" she mused wondering what kind of world this child came from.

[darkhourdear]

"They're called Shadows. But they only come out during the dark hour. Most people aren't awake then." Nevermind that he was technically a Shadow.

"The Dark Hour?" she mused giving him an almost quizzical look, "What is the dark hour exactly?" she mused somewhat intrigued with what he said. Tear knew it was an hour but what did he mean by 'dark?'

"It's the time between one day and the next. For most people, they don't realize it even exists because they're protected from the Shadows in coffins. But, some people are awake."
