Not over the devices, but rather in speakers all over each and every district. A familiar voice should ring out—you did, after all, hear the voice of your Queen earlier today. ]

Hello loveies! You might recall this particular visage which speaks before you—that is, I am your Queen. Call me Queenie, if you must! I’ve met you all on this particular day, and I find it important to bestow some of my boundless knowledge onto you, sweethearts.

Now! Done with formalities, let’s see where we stand… ah, yes! Might I be the first to welcome you all to Mallow Hallow, our wonderful little country. Not too big, not quite too small either! It’s just lovely, isn’t it? Oh, how all my new babies will love it here! Or—perhaps not. [ She clicks her tongue. ] Either way, it doesn't really matter. You're stuck here for the time, so do try to make the most of it, dears.

Of course, there are our sectors within Mallow Hallow. Six… [ There’s silence for a short moment. ] Yes, there are six, aren’t there..? Well, six different communities you might stem off from! Surely you remember the name from our meeting earlier? If not, I’m sure one of the regular inhabitants of each particular district will assist you in naming your new home!

Live where you’d like, eat what you’d like, do what you’d like! Our homes are now your homes, so please, consider us all a big happy family to you! Remember you can reach me or any of the other rulers of any of the districts, over at our voicemails! [ Somehow, that seems sarcastic… ]

Also, don’t cause any trouble, or I’ll personally end you. [ There it is. ]

[Togami Lite? More like Togami Perfection. But either way, Kuzuryuu isn't someone familiar to him at all. The name? Most likely. But this baby-faced little gangster? Nope.

He spares a glance in Kuzuryuu's direction momentarily, not all that sure if this is even worth his time. After all, people knowing who he was in general was nothing new. But something happening to him? Yeah okay that part does have his attention, just a little bit.]

If you haven't gathered that much from what little information that woman decided to share, then perhaps you need to get your ears checked. [because... that is what he's assuming Kuzuryuu means, sob.]

He might not know what he means by 'stupid rabbit,' but Monobear is definitely something he does know, and he doesn't like that this kid knows it. He narrows his eyes at Kuzuryuu, trying to think of what this really could mean. Since well, he did know their school adventures were being broadcast outside of the school, but at the same time...]

[Kuzuryuu's instinctive response is to snap back at him for asking a dumb question, but you know what? Fine. He'll play whatever stupid sort of game this is, for now.]

... Not a whole lot. All I know is he's a stupid toy being controlled by some asshole who says we can't leave the island unless we get away with murder. But you should know all that already.

...I've changed my mind. That is by far the most idiotic thing you've said. I shouldn't even have to explain what's wrong about that.

[Because what is he on about? Monobear and murder is nothing new, but last he checked, they were kind of stuck in a school, not on an island, and Kuzuryuu definitely wasn't one of the 16 students trapped there. But at the same time, him knowing Monobear's MO and saying he was trapped with him on an island bothers him. It bothers him a lot.]

But I suppose I'll humor you for now. Tell me more about this island you say we were on.

But whatever, since you've apparently forgotten, I'll tell you. The 16 of us were supposed to be attending Hope's Peak academy. According to the bear, we went there for two years, but our memories were erased. So the next thing we all remember we were stuck on an island with this other stupid toy that called itself Usami. The stupid rabbit. She said it was some sort of bullshit field trip for us to make friends or something. But then that Monobear showed up and took over.

And according to you, the island is some sort of tourist destination called Jabberwock Island. Except it's deserted now, other than us 16 and the stupid toys.

But okay, Jabberwock Island. Check. He knows that. What he doesn't like is hearing that it's deserted, because wow why would it be. It wasn't a bad resort island, all things considered. He's seen better, but it wasn't horrible.

But the rest? That's the part he's having trouble with. Because well, he'd remember that. There were certainly other possibilities that could explain that, especially as he mentioned their memories being erased, but... well that's just absurd.]

Your story's certainly well fabricated, I'll grant you that, but that's all it is. For one thing, Hope's Peak no longer functions as a school, and I, at least, certainly didn't have the chance to spend two years attending classes there. [AS FAR AS HE'S AWARE. And it functions as a house of murder now, okay]

Second, I'd have remembered if I were trapped in that school with someone as idiotic as yourself. [remembered as in, he would have made a point to avoid or possibly antagonize him. Much like he did with Mondo, sob.]

While it's true there were 16 students there, you were definitely not one of them.

Were you not listening? I thought I was being clear enough, but apparently not. I was in the school. Fifteen others that were to be my classmates were in the school. You were not among them. There were sixteen and only sixteen of us there.

[he's not even going to bother talking about why Kuzuryuu would have made shit up, because he doesn't really know. He's not an SHSL Mind Reader or anything. But clearly it is all made up, because what else would it be?]

Maybe whatever the hell you're talking about happened before. That stupid bear didn't tell us what exactly had happened in the two years of memories that were apparently taken from us.

[If people were being dragged here from all over the place, why not from all over time too? It was just as ridiculous as anything else that had happened.]

It's a possibility, certainly, but it's wrong.

[Wrong because he plans on killing the Mastermind, so there's no way he'd wind up stuck in a similar situation again. Even though he kind of is here minus the killing, but that's just a minor detail. But he has evidence why it's wrong, okay, or at least what he's sure counts as evidence.]

Knowing that bear's motive, erasing memories that relate to it is the last thing it would want to do.

[because surely you know what makes Monobear tick, don't you, Kuzuryuu? He's not going to just hand you the answer, that is boring.]

And therein lies the problem with your story. If it were true, you would have certainly known by now what that bear's most interested in.

[he's not going to answer why he knows that because it's very obvious and not difficult to figure out at all, what with how often it goes on about despair.]

I told you, it only just showed up! None of us have any idea what the fuck it's problem is, just that whatever it is, the stupid rabbit doesn't agree.

Last I remember before this place was him making some bullshit announcement about a body being discovered.

But hmm. Body discovery announcements. That sounds like him, but at the same time, there's no way it could be true. Nope. But okay, fine, he'll answer, but he looks incredibly bored and more than a bit patronizing as he does. Because wow Kuzuryuu this isn't interesting anymore at all.]

Guess that explains why the rabbit was so against him, if she was really serious about that "cultivating hope" bullshit.

But whatever, it's not like I care. even if he is an asshole, that bear's conditions for leaving are easier than the rabbits. I just needed to wait for the right time to make my move.

[Hey, he never said it was a good one!!! and cultivating hope sounds just as dumb. But he kind of likes your mindset there, Kuzuryuu. MAYBE IF YOU HAD BEEN STUCK IN THE SCHOOL WITH HIM, THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTING. No one seriously seemed to put their heart into killing others and it was just boring, okay.]

While I still doubt your story, at least you understand the nature of the game you've found yourself in. That's far more than I can say for others.

[Man, if Kuzuryuu is skeptical, Togami's even moreso. Because wow, he would never say something like that. Why does he think he would?]

Why would I say something like that? [because there are so many things wrong there okay. Even if that was something he wanted, there's no way to enforce that in a setting like that school, or whatever island shit he was on about. Sure, he's "withdrawn" from the game because it got boring, but if the others died, that still didn't concern him too much. Because he was the one that was going to win and all that jazz, not them. They were just there and had better not get in his way.]

At its very core, it's only a game, and I intend to best its mastermind.
